South Dakota Now Mississippi!
Who would have thought that South Dakota would lead the nation in a renewal of values and morals, but they have done just that. They became the first state in the union to outlaw abortion except in cases where a pregnancy might jeopardize the life of the mother. Mississippi has just followed suit as of yesterday.
These two decisions would go against the momentous Roe v. Wade case which made abortion legal. Eventually these could be contested before the Supreme Court. And with the new justices that President Bush has appointed, could result in an end to the most disgusting aspect of American culture.
The road will be long with many obstacles along the way. However, the potential for this to go through is there. Now it takes perseverance for those fighting the fight and the prayers of those who wish for America to become a better place.
I have found articles about this for you. (Because you won't hear about it in the liberal media. They'd rather talk about Dick Cheney shooting a guy in the face - which while is funny, isn't as important as what these decisions could potentially mean.)
The first article is religious. The second isn't.

Pray friends. This could be the start of something great.

Who would have thought that not one, but TWO states could take-up this matter at the same time? Of course, it helps that the president has recently had two more Conservative judges elected to the Supreme Court.
I have prayed for the day when people would start realizing that the lives of our unborn are precious and that we need to bring an end to this terrible attitude our country has developed.
I agree with you John, this could be the start of somethig great!
